The audio plays but not the video even though it can be seen in the Video 1 and Audio 1's Timeline. It was described to me as needing a very steep learning curve - it certainly does and as a result I will look elsewhere for video editing software. I am also having difficulty replaying videos after loading them into Adobe Premiere Elements 2020. So glad I just got the trial version, this software is not intuitive and incredibly non-user friendly.

What am I doing wrongly? And how on earth do you stop a video in the timeline? I have searched the internet and the manual for answers but no luck. Are the Premiere Pro keyboard shortcuts the same on PC Quicktime is no longer supported for PC - can I still work with my clips General Mac to PC questions. I have tried loading mp4, avi and mov but get the same result. Once the video is in the timeline it won't replay from the icon in the top left.
#Mac osx adobe premiere opens but not elements doesn't open full version
But some files of the same type do play okay So wondering why some are okay and others not I have installed a full version of Premiere Elements 13 and ALL files play fine there. Same thing happens if I left click the video in the timeline. I have a problem whereby certain Video files do not play in Photoshop Elements 13 Organizer. If I dbl left click it here it plays video and audio in a little window in the centre of the screen but if I drag the video from the top left to the timeline then press play it plays audio but not video. I open Adobe Premiere Elements 2020, click on video editor, click on add media, choose the video, it puts it in on the top left in the projects assets bin. I am also having difficulty replaying videos after loading them into Adobe Premiere Elements 2020. I right click on the taskbar and end task in the background processes with Adobe Premiere Elements 2020. Also happening to me as a new user of the trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements 2020.
